Eric Lilljequist Live in studio

Eric Lilljequist on September 27!

Dean Adrien and Eric Lilljequist appear on Tom Rush, Live at Symphony Hall, Boston, released in 2001 on Varese Sarabande, and have performed over the years in a trio with Rush. Lilljequist's music has been recorded by acts as diverse as the Four Freshmen and Bruce MacPherson, the band's presence an important element of the Boston rock & roll scene during the late '60s. The entire summer of 1967, the band performed at the Atlantic House in Provincetown, the group performing in one room while the likes of Odetta, John Lee Hooker, and Nina Simone appeared on the larger stage. It was no doubt a magical summer, as Moulty & the Barbarians and the Velvet Underground were also making noise on Cape Cod, the Barbarians sometimes sharing bills with Orphan. ~ Joe Viglione, Rovi

ALISON GAYLIN "And She Was"

Tonight on http://www.wincam.org 8 PM Tune in Live!

_______________________________

March 15 Alison Gaylin, Richie Sarno

AND SHE WAS by Alison Gaylin. This is the first in a new series by Edgar award nominee, Alison Gaylin and she is very excited to share it with the world. This new series combines the psychological depth of Laura Lippman’s Tess Monaghan series with the fast pacing and gripping tension of Harlan Coben’s suburban thrillers. And in fact, Lippman and Coben are huge fans of this young and upcoming talent in the mystery world.

“A deftly plotted, completely involving novel with one of the most memorable protagonists to come along in years. Brenna Spector is tough, loyal, and canny -- and that’s just in her day-to-day life as the mother of an adolescent. She’s also a savvy, empathetic private investigator. I hope she’s on the case for a long, long time.”

— Laura Lippman, New York Times bestselling author

Visual Radio presents Gary DeCarlo of the group STEAM to talk about his music and career. When fans in sports stadiums start singing "Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye...". people think of the voice on the hit recording...that voice is Gary DeCarlo who, most recently, is on a PBS special entitled 60's Pop, Rock & Soul along with previous Visual Radio guests Peter Noone of Herman Hermits, Marty Balin of Jefferson Starship, Mitch Ryder of Detroit, Gary Lewis of The Playboys and Dick Peterson of The Kingsmen.

Joe Tortelli, VR co-host who has contributed to the national Goldmine Magazine - and who recently interviewed Ken Evans of The Fifth Estate, may be co-hosting the show airing this Thursday night at 8 PM on WinCAM - Winchester Community Access & Media. You can tune in at http://www.wincam.org immediately following the 7 PM Wonderful Show featuring Joe LaRocca and Anthony Gaimari.

We'll chat with DeCarlo about "The Demo That Got The Deal" for Steam, how the appearance on the PBS special came together (and how the performance on PBS is a mirror image of the hit single!), and other music recorded by the singer whose song is in millions and millions of homes.

Our film review at 8:45 PM will be LOVE LAUGHS AT ANDY HARDY with noted author and co-host Frank Dello Stritto. This Mickey Rooney film from 1946 was directed by Willis Goldbeck
