Great community interest stories.
Major names from all facets of the entertainment industry
and more!
Visual Radio, established in 1995!
Host Joe Viglione loves the spirit of real public access television...and with his first program,
TV EYE, produced in Somerville in 1979, he has more knowledge of real public access television than many...and he's always happy to share that information and help build a strong access television community. That is our mission...because we CARE about your right to the electronic soap box.

We have dozens of interviews posting on YouTube soon...and hope to have all 520 episodes uploaded to the internet by January 2012! It's an enormous task...community programming, A-list guests from the worlds of music, film and sports...as well as shows that spin off from Visual Radio - including Burlington's Producer Of The Year, Richard Heneghan, whose very first appearance was on Visual Radio! We met at a Christmas Party and I brought Richard into the world of access television! ACM Award winner George Cox, noted author of 3 books Kate Genovese and a number of other access hosts got their start on Visual Radio.
The TV program has done more outreach than a certain Massachusetts TV station...there's no argument that Visual Radio has created more programming on its own than the station in question.
Joe Viglione has worked diligently to keep access television alive in many communities.
